Our skilled Physical Therapist works with physicians to evaluate and recommend treatment to residents with various problems, such as joint and muscle pain, lymph edema, orthopedic, and neuromuscular injury, wounds, history of falls, joint contracture, and debility following injury, illness or the physical deterioration that can come with advancing age. If needed we may recommend and use therapeutic modalities and devices to reduce pain, improve strength and restore function.

Our goal is to restore previous level of function, or the highest level possible, pain-free. We will work closely with our resident, family members or resident’s representatives and the interdisciplinary team to reach our common goal.

Our services do not end upon discontinuation of physical therapy treatment. We are certain that the resident maintains the highest level of function through the Nursing Restorative Program, which includes floor ambulation, Park and Dine, exercise and splinting.
